Do you know what planet we’re on? A globe where people still live by genocidal paradigms in many nations—and the rest of us are confused by the choice between what is right, and what is profitable. With such primitivisms yet gnawing on our country’s foundations, it ill behooves us to turn a blind eye to the casual dismissing of precious ethics and principles.
We should be more appreciative of the (already) great country we enjoy—we should fight against taking our freedom for granted. Lots of blood was spilled—many heroes fell—countless Americans stood tall in the face of injustice and tyranny over two centuries to get us here. And, more importantly, if we let it slip from our fingers, all that blood will have to be shed again—and the legacy of our forefathers will have been in vain.
All because we want to crawl inside our devices and shut out the world? Hey, I’m struggling with it, too—I understand, believe me. Of course we all want to know what crazy Tweet will come next—it’s a great show. But we should also be watching our Congress—seeing how long those hypocrites are gonna hang fire until they realize how exposed they are to charges of depravity and ethical neglect—for failing to impeach the Grand Wizard.
Money talks and bullshit walks—deplore away, Legislators, but if you’re not impeaching or resigning or staging a sit-in on the floor of Congress, then you are all tarred with the same brush. Try bullshitting out of that one with ‘spin’—go ahead, I dare ya.
